Lualaba/Installation du Surintendant : Fifi Masuka a communié avec les chrétiens méthodistes
Le Gouverneur intérimaire du Lualaba, Fifi Masuka Saini a participé ce dimanche 30 mai à la cérémonie d’installation du nouveau surintendant du district de Jourdain et doyen des surintendants de l’église Méthodiste, Henry Muteb Nawej. C’était au cours d’un culte qui s’est déroulé dans la concession de cette église à Kolwezi et présidé par l’Evêque Alex KASAP Owan, responsable de la région épiscopale du Sud Congo et de la Zambie.
Dans son allocution, le numéro 1 de la communauté dans la région épiscopale du sud Congo et Zambie a fait un bref aperçu historique de l’Église Méthodiste qui compte à ce jour plus de 12 millions des fidèles dans le monde.
Il est en outre revenu sur les missions d’un surintendant qui sont : la surveillance du ministère total des pasteurs dans un district pour le témoignage de l’Évangile du Christ et la proclamation de la mission prophétique afin de gagner des âmes.
Fifi Masuka a saisi cette occasion pour remercier tous les chrétiens de cette confession réligieuse pour leur mobilisation tous azimuts lors de l’arrivée du Président de la République Felix Tshisekedi à Kolwezi. Elle a exprimé sa disponibilité à accompagner le nouveau responsable du district de Jourdain dans l’accomplissement de sa lourde tâche. Le Vice-Gouverneur et Gouverneur a.i. du Lualaba a promis d’apporter sa contribution financière pour la construction d’un temple pour la paroisse Jourdain.
Des députés provinciaux et quelques membres du Gouvernement ont pris part à cette cérémonie.
