Fungurume : La population invitée à observer les mesures barrières dans la lutte contre le Covid-19.
La pandémie à coronavirus a fait plusieurs morts dans certains pays touchés. En République Démocratique du Congo, les autorités s’appliquent le mieux qu’elles le peuvent à prendre les dispositions qui s’imposent.
C’est dans ce cadre que l’autorité communale de Fungurume a, au cours d’une communication faite ce samedi 09 mai devant la presse, rappelé à ses administrés le respect de l’observance des gestes et mesures barrières à appliquer pour lutter contre la pandémie à coronavirus. «Nous devons nous laver régulièrement les mains avec de l’eau et au savon ; Evitons de nous saluer à la main ; et toujours tousser ou éternuer dans le pli du coude», a rappelé Christian MUKUNTO KIBUKILA. «Ces gestes simples mais utiles vont nous épargner du Covid-19», a-t-il insisté.
Contrairement à certaines personnes qui pensent que le coronavirus est une utopie, le Bourgmestre a rappelé à la population de sa juridiction que «le coronavirus est bien réel et toutes les couches peuvent l’attraper en cas de non respect des mesures barrières». En outre, le numéro 1 de cette municipalité a mis il en garde toute personne qui va aller à l’encontre des dispositions du Chef de l’Etat relayées en province par le Gouverneur Richard MUYEJ. Il a pointé les tenanciers des bars, staffs, gandas; les églises et les motards qui passent outre ces mesures. «Tout celui qui sera arrêté pour n’avoir pas respecter ces dispositions se verra punir conformément à la loi», a-t-il déclaré.
La municipalité pour sa part s’emploie à vulgariser les gestes barrières à travers les médias locaux. Plusieurs dispositifs de lave-mains ont été placés dans différents milieux publics.
