Lualaba : une mort suspecte au sein de Sicomines
La population du quartier Gécamines Kapata, situé à une quinzaine de kilomètres de la ville de Kolwezi, s’est réveillée ce jeudi 28 janvier sous une tension.
À la base de cette situation « un présumé meurtre d’un agent congolais de l’entreprise minière chinoise Sicomines dans la nuit du mercredi à jeudi », selon la famille de l’agent.
Mécontente de cet énième supposé meurtre, la population s’est soulevée tôt le matin en barricadant la principale avenue qui conduit à l’entreprise.
« Selon les informations en notre possession, notre frère a été tué par un sujet chinois alors qu’il accomplissait ses tâches journalières. Les raisons de ce meurtre ne sont pas encore connues », a indiqué un membre de la famille qui dénonce ce meurtre, qui du reste n’est pas un cas isolé au sein de l’entreprise.
Pour le directeur général de Sicomines Elie Tshinguli, « c’est un intrus qui a trouvé la mort sur le site de l’entreprise. Pour l’instant, l’affaire est en train les mains de la justice qui doit élucider les circonstances de cette mort ».
La police nationale congolaise est intervenue pour rétablir la quiétude aux abords de l’entreprise. C’est un dossier à suivre !
