Covid-19: Le PPRD renvoie les manifestations de son 18è anniversaire à une date ultérieure.
Le Parti du Peuple pour la Reconstruction et la Démocratie (PPRD) a totalisé dix-huit ans d’existence ce mardi 31 mai. Mais le contexte mondial marqué par la pandémie du Coronavirus ne permet pas au parti de Joseph KABILA de célébrer cet anniversaire comme d’habitude.
«Conformément aux mesures édictées par les Pouvoirs publics ainsi que les recommandations de l’OMS en rapport avec la lutte contre la propagation de la pandémie du COVID-19 et faisant suite à mon premier communiqué y relatif en date du 19 mars 2020, toutes les manifestations qui étaient prévues ce 31 mars 2020 sont reportées à une date ultérieure sur toute l’étendue de la République Démocratique du Congo et à travers toutes les fédérations», a écrit le Secrétaire permanent du PPRD Emmanuel RAMAZANI SHADARY dans un communiqué ce 31 mars.
Shadary rappelle par ailleurs à «tous les militants du PPRD en particulier et au peuple congolais en général que la pandémie COVID-19 existe bel et bien et qu’elle tue plus qu’une bombe atomique. Aujourd’hui plus que jamais, la santé est une priorité des priorités».
Le PPRD est né le 31 mars 2002, pour regrouper autour du nouveau président de la République, Joseph KABILA, les kabilistes jadis réunis au sein de l’AFDL créé par son père M’zee Laurent-Desiré KABILA, assassiné en janvier 2001.
